Authentically captivating the audience with a guitar and a soothing voice glistening with passion, singer-songwriter Maxim Marlo completely transformed his whole life and moved from the start-up hustle in Berlin to a bold new life in the jungle of Costa Rica, where he has recorded his first feel-good indie-folk hit song ‘Ocean’ that feels remarkably intimate and relatable to everyone on the path of creating a better world.
The calling to purely write, compose and play from his heart, soul and higher self came early in Maxim’s life. Before his first words, he was playing all the toy instruments he could get his hands on, and before his first day of school, he was already dressing like a rockstar and performed on stage for the first time in Kindergarten. Since then, he has deepened his studies in the art of songwriting, composing and production with some of the best minds in the industry, receiving guidance from mentors and producers of A-level artists and Grammy-awarded music.
His soothing voice and uplifting lyrics feel like a warm hug embracing yourself in moments of challenges, raising your head up, proudly standing tall with a courageous heart, ready to embrace change with confidence, positivity and joy.

“I found these old photos (and actually many more) of me playing all kinds of different instruments, since I was a baby and acting like I’m a rockstar on a big stage. Since then I was always very strongly connected to music. However, the calling of being a musician got buried amongst a path of education and career and it took me a lot of unraveling to find back to that childhood spirit and authentic call to know that music is what I’m really meant to do here.”
